AMAN App Privacy Policy

Introduction

Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, store, use and protect your personal information, and it is important that you review it. By personal information we mean information connected to a specific person and used to identify them.

We collect personal information from those wishing to use the AMAN app or its associated web pages (including, but not limited to, when you request a wheelchair rental, or when you contact our user support center team by phone or email). Once you provide us with your personal information, you authorize us to process it in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy.

We hope you will review the Privacy Policy from time to time and follow the announcements about any amendments to it.

The Data We Process

As part of registering for or using the App, you will be asked to provide specific personal information such as your name, delivery address, email and phone number. This information is processed in accordance with legal requirements, after obtaining your explicit consent, in order to verify your identity, recognize you and provide the service properly.

We will also process device information, access data and internet-related information (IP address) for technical reasons, as well as to detect any suspicious behavior early and prevent harm.

We may also need to collect specific financial information from you, such as your credit card number, credit card code, expiry date, bank identifier and card type. You enter this financial information in the "Payment Method" section of the App. We use this information for billing purposes and to complete your orders using the payment method that suits you. You can also save this information so you do not need to enter it every time you want to place a new order, and you can remove it from your account at any time.

Information is passed to drivers, after the data has been processed and using the minimum amount of information, so that they can deliver your order correctly and quickly.

Finally, we may collect additional information from you. For example, we may collect information about your communication with the customer support team, and we may also collect ratings and other comments related to your use of the App for statistical purposes.

Protecting Your Personal Information

We never give your data to any unauthorized external party, and all data is subject to continuous, strict monitoring.

We process your personal data and take every precaution to protect your information against unauthorized access, use or disclosure.

Out of our strong commitment to data protection, we also work under contract with entities specialized in data protection that are licensed by the competent and accredited authorities within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and in accordance with our own privacy standards.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain user data only for as long as necessary to provide and operate the AMAN app's services — including wheelchair rental, delivery, returns, customer support, contracts, invoices and service records — and to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and maintain service records.

Data retention periods may include the following:

Account information such as name, phone number, email, delivery address and profile data is retained for as long as the user's account remains active.
Records of bookings, rentals, deliveries, contracts, invoices and service history may be retained for up to seven (7) years where needed for accounting, tax, legal, operational or dispute-resolution purposes.
Location data and delivery-related data are retained only for as long as necessary to provide rental, delivery, return, support and safety services, unless longer retention is required by law or for legitimate business needs.
Chat messages, support messages, images, voice messages and other service-related communications may be retained for customer support, order history, dispute resolution and service-quality improvement.
Device information, notification tokens, app logs and technical data may be retained for security, troubleshooting, fraud prevention and app-performance improvement.
When personal data is no longer required for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy, it will be deleted, anonymized or securely archived.

After receiving a deletion request, we will delete or anonymize the personal data within a reasonable period, unless we are required to retain certain information for legal, accounting, tax, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution or regulatory-compliance purposes.

Some records may remain temporarily in backups or archives until they are securely deleted in accordance with our backup retention procedures.

Third Parties

We will not sell, rent or disclose any information for the benefit of any third party outside this App or its affiliated apps. Information will be disclosed only if ordered by a judicial or regulatory authority.

If information is transferred to a third party, this will be on a contractual basis, with full compliance with our Privacy Policy, within a defined scope for handling our legal, tax and accounting affairs.
